I recently stayed for two nights where I truly appreciated the fabulous location just a short walk from the charming market town of Wallingford, as well as the beautiful river views from the lovely garden seating area right next to the Thames, which made my strolls around the area even more enjoyable. As a solo traveler, I found the room to be cozy and well-furnished, with private access and thoughtful amenities that really enhanced my experience.

Honestly, I was made to feel like family for the time I was there, that's rare man! The room was exceptionally clean and all furnishings were modern and high quality, Annie and Tim really nailed it on that front.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but the experience makes it worth it.

The location offered breathtaking views, complemented by beautiful decor and thoughtful touches like complimentary drinks and biscuits. The welcoming gesture of a glass of wine by the riverside was a delightful surprise. While there was no breakfast, the care taken by the owners made for a genuinely relaxing experience.

I just loved lounging in the sun on the terrace by the river—it's the perfect reading spot! The room was spotless, with a luxurious waterfall shower that made me feel like royalty. And let’s not forget the warm hospitality from Annie and Tim. it truly felt like home away from home!

The Superior Double or Twin Room offers a comfy setup that’s perfect for a night in. With a prime location just a short stroll from the town center, the walk in was scenic, enhancing the whole experience.

While everything felt great overall, I did notice that the room lacked some soundproofing—a bit of outside noise crept in at times. the amenities, while adequate, didn’t feel particularly luxurious, making it somewhat basic for those expecting a bit more indulgence.
